Deborah Holmes
Station Manager
dholmes@crawfordbroadcasting.com
Mrs. Holmes was the first
employee hired by Crawford Broadcasting Company in April
1994, as an Account Executive. In April 1995, she was
appointed Station Manager, overseeing daily operations
including programming, sales, administration, human
resources, production, music, and on air activities.
In addition to managing the station, she has maintained sole
responsibility for all sales activity since 2000 and the
station continues to grow. Each new partner is
provided a one-on-one personal consultation, with Mrs.
Holmes, to develop a custom-designed marketing strategy to
help achieve the ministry’s objective. “We are a
results-oriented company and we work as a team to provide
each partner the benefits of our expertise and years of
experience in marketing ministries in the media,” says
Holmes. |

lgalloway@crawfordbroadcasting.com
Linda R. Galloway joined the KSTL 690 AM
family in October 1994. She started as a part-time
board operator and now serves as the Operations
Director/Chief Board Operator. She is responsible for
staffing, training, and supervising the station’s board
operators. Her duties include working closely with the
station’s engineer and overseeing the maintenance of our
newly-installed NEXGEN system, ensuring partners’ programs
air properly as contracted. She is also responsible
for the technical operations of the station, as well as
general maintenance issues. She is the voice for KSTL
during the afternoons, Monday-Friday from 2:00 p.m. – 4:30
p.m. Linda stands on this commitment to you,
“Our team of board operators are committed to ensure that
your ministry programs air accurately, appropriately,

Lisa Smith
Full-time Board Operator
Lisa Smith, affectionately
known as our “nocturnal baby” joined KSTL as a part-time
board operator in July 2000. Shortly thereafter, in
September 2000, she accepted a position as full-time board
operator. For most of her career with KSTL, she
exclusively handled our overnight operations, thus, she was
crowned our “nocturnal baby” because she owned the overnight
shift, relinquishing it only by mandate in February 2005
when the station converted to NexGen overnight. In
addition to her board operator duties and because she is a
talented musician, who loves Gospel music, she assumes
responsibility for auditioning all of the music that is
presented to KSTL for air play. She identifies that
special music which is spiritually edifying and uplifting to
minister to our royal, loyal listeners. |

Hernandes Union
Full-time Board Operator
Hernandes is the new kid on
the block, who brings a special talent in computer
operations, which compliments the station’s new technology.
As full-time board operator, he is responsible for
engineering live shows and monitoring the NexGen computer to
ensure music and programming airs in conjunction with the
program logs. Hernandes is an asset to KSTL and we
look forward to his many contributions to our ability to
deliver a quality product at all times. |

Doris Canady
Receptionist
When you call KSTL AM 690,
you will be greeted by one of the most warm-spirited
individuals you will ever meet. The voice and
personality of Doris Canady has ignited the hearts of
“millions”
over the past six years as she has taken her position to a
new level of Christian hospitality. When you visit the
station, in person, you will be greeted in Christian love,
not just vocally, but if you allow it, you will get “some
love” in Doris’ old-fashioned way of a bear hug. She
sets the atmosphere for the experience that awaits you
throughout your partnership, whether long-term or
short-term. “My mission here is to serve our
Heavenly Father and to share the love of Christ with my
brothers and sisters who desire to partner with this
station.” |
